'Puthan Panam' teaser: Meet Nithyananda Shenoy

Puthan Panam will see Mammootty in the role of Kasaragod-based businessman Nithyananda Shenoy, and the teaser hints at the adventurous journey he undertakes in the film.

Renji Panicker, Siddique, Saikumar, Mammukoya, Iniya and Sheelu Abraham will also feature in Puthan Panam. The film, which reportedly deals with the black money situation in the state, is set for a Vishu release.

Puthan Panam marks the return of the Mammootty-Ranjith team, which had previously combined to deliver several critically and commercially successful films such as 'Black', 'Kaiyoppu', 'Paleri Manikyam' and 'Pranchiyettan and The Saint', after a gap of four years.

Mammootty's latest film 'The Great Father', which released last week, had broken the industry record for the biggest opening day collection.
