Prince died of accidental opioid overdose

The Midwest Medical Examiner's office had been investigating the death case ever since the pop sensation was found dead in an elevator in his home. Prince weighed 112 pounds and was 63 inches tall when he died. Whether fentanyl was prescribed or used illegally has not been established yet.

Fentanyl is a prescribed drug for cancer treatment, overdose of which can result in immediate death.
