Popular singer and Guinness World Record holder Ghazal Srinivas was arrested following a complaint by a woman who accused him of sexual harassment.
He had allegedly sexually and mentally harassed, a female radio jockey working in the web radio AalayaVani owned by Srinivas himself. However, he has refuted the allegations levelled by the victim.

According to reports, now, Srinivas has claimed that he had treated the woman as his daughter. He also added that she had stolen the office keys a few days ago and he didn't complain to police despite others suggesting him to do so.
According to Srinivas, the victim herself offered him massages. He said, "Trust my words. I always treated her like my child. I don't know what is the intention behind the allegations. I have never harassed her."
Srinivas holds the Guinness World Record for singing in 76 languages at one concert.
