Parineeti Chopra out, Rakul Preet bags film opposite Mahesh Babu

Parineeti Chopra's loss has turned into Rakul Preet's gain as the actress has bagged a plum project opposite Mahesh Babu. The makers roped in Rakul Preet Singh, after Parineeti left the Telugu-Tamil bilingual even before the shoot started. 

The reason behind Parineeti's sudden exit has not been revealed yet but the makers zeroed in on Rakul after doing a test shoot with her.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film will go on floors in August.
