No one killed the black buck: Huge relief for Salman Khan

Synopsis

The Sultan actor was accused of killing a black buck and a chinkara in two separate incidents in 1998 during his Bollywood film shooting Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur.

Salman Khan had appealed to the Rajasthan high court challenging a lower court's verdict that had sentenced him and convicted him to between one and five years in jail for the two cases of poaching.

The Rajasthan high court heard the cases in the last week of May 2016 but reserved its decision at the time. Salman was accused of killing one of the animals in Bhawad on the outskirts of Jodhpur on September 26, 1998, and another in Ghoda Farms on September 28, 1998.
