Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah, who was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, will be discharged today, July 5.
Bollywood veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, who was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar, Mumbai will soon be discharged. The same hospital where actor Dilip Kumar is admitted for the last few days after complaining of breathlessness.
A patch of pneumonia was detected in his lungs, after which he needed to get timely admitted to the hospital.
Speaking to a leading daily, Shah had cleared all speculations regarding his health and discharge. He also confirmed the news of his discharge to the publication and said, “I am fine. Going home tomorrow (Monday).”
While speaking to Pinkvilla, his wife and actress Ratna Pathak Shah had told that luckily, the patch of pneumonia was in one corner of the lungs; therefore, not much work will be required in treating it.
Naseeruddin Shah is a three-time National Award-winning actor who has been honoured with the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to Indian cinema.
