When Naseeruddin Shah had a chance to play Dumbledore

Synopsis

During a Twitter chat with TOI, the Wednesday star claimed that he had a chance to be a part of the Harry Potter movies created by JK Rowling.

Naseeruddin wrote "My agent wanted me to audition for Dumbledore’s character after Richard Harris died. I was asked if I would like to audition for it. But I wouldn’t audition for it,"

Dumbledore was originally played by late Irish actor Richard Harris. But when he passed away in the year 2002, English actor Michael Gambon was roped in to portrayed the character from the third movie of the franchise.

Just imagine, Naseeruddin as a Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore.
