Mollywood babe Shritha Sivadas makes a bold comeback

The Hangover actress Shritha has been away from the spotlight after her wedding in 2014.She had, however, promised to return if good projects came along. True to her claim, Shritha will soon be seen as a heroine in the upcoming Malayalam film Dum, directed by Anu Ram. She has usually essayed roles as a simple village girl in her movies but this time, she will be seen playing a bold character.

In an interview with an entertainment website, Shritha said, "My character Sherin is simple, yet bold. She belongs to a wealthy family but doesn't behave like a rich woman." She added that her character is also the love interest of Shine Tom Chacko in the movie. 

Explaining the plot, director Anu Ram said, "Sherin is a student and is Antony's (played by Shine Tom) childhood sweetheart. Actor Lal and Parvathy will play the role of her parents."

Shritha, whose last movie was Koothara released in 2014, has been absent from the film industry during her post-marriage sabbatical in Dubai. 

"I missed Mollywood, I used to watch movies, from classics to comedies, all through my sabbatical," Shritha said on her comeback.

The actress is married to a Dubai-based RJ Deepak and says her husband is quite supportive of her acting career.
