Velipadinte Pusthakam: Casting details of Mohanlal-Lal Jose film revealed

Synopsis

Velipadinte Pusthakam will see Mohanlal and Lal Jose teaming up for the first time Anna Reshma Rajan, of Angamaly Diaries, will play the female lead in the film Anoop Menon, Priyanka Nair and Sarath Kumar have also been confirmed Jude Anthany Joseph revealed he has joined the cast and will be seen in a significant role

Director Jude Anthany Joseph has been roped in to play a part in Velipadinte Pusthakam, the much-awaited Mohanlal-Lal Jose project.

Mohanlal announced the film, his first ever project with veteran director Lal Jose, through his Facebook page on Sunday - the occasion of his 57th birthday. The film has been touted as a campus-based entertainer, and is already riding him on expectations.

Anna Reshma Rajan, of Angamaly Diaries, will play the female lead opposite Mohanlal, while Anoop Menon, Priyanka Nair and Sarath Kumar have also been confirmed to play important roles. And now director Jude Anthany has revealed that he has also joined the cast and will be seen in a significant role.

Jude, who has directed Om Shanti Oshana and Oru Muthassi Gadha, has acted before with megastar Mammootty in Thoppil Joppan and also in films such as Premam and Action Hero Biju. And now the self-confessed Laletten fan has gotten the chance to act with his favourite Mollywood superstar.

Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas, Velipadinte Pusthakam will be written by Benny P Nayarambalam. Shaan Rahman will compose the film's while Vishnu Sarma is set to crank the camera.
