Model Chandrika Ravi to star in a Kollywood film

Chandrika said she would play the role of a girl influenced by both eastern and western cultures. The 26-year-old said that acting had always been her first love. 

In a candid interview to Times of India, Chandrika, a 26-year-old model-turned-actress spoke about her experience with the film industry and her role in the movie. 

Chandrika said she would play the role of a girl influenced by both eastern and western cultures. She said "I play a girl who is very simply down to earth - like how I am in real life too. Although I was born and brought up abroad, my roots are from South India with strong cultural influences from here."

The 26-year-old said that acting had always been her first love. She added, "I have previously done a few feature films abroad. I wanted to explore different kinds of roles, so when this opportunity came by, I immediately agreed to do it."

The hot model continued, "I shot in Kochi and Chennai and have also finished dubbing for the movie. I will be back soon to India for the audio launch and the promotions." 

Chandrika Ravi has now gone back to the US.
