Megastar Mammootty pays tribute to Uri martyrs

Mammootty pays homage to the Uri martyrs during Thoppil Joppan's music launch The movie will hit the screens on 7 October

During Malayalam movie Thoppil Joppan's audio launch Mammootty began his speech by paying homage to the Uri martyrs who lost their lives in the recent Uri attack and requested those who were present at the event to pray in silence for a couple of moments.

Many celebs were present in the event like Mohan Jose, Reshmi Boban, Badusha, Kalabhavan Navas, Sadiq, Suresh Krishna and Sudheer Sukumaran. Thoppil Joppan is the fourth release of Mammootty this year after Puthiya Niyamam, Kasaba, and White.

The movie will hit the screens on 7 October, and will fight in the box office with Mohanlal's big budget action thriller Pulimurugan, which is expected to hit more than 3,000 screens worldwide on the same day.

Vidyasagar composes the music for the film, and the lyrics are written by Rafeeq Ahammed and Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma.
