Mammootty plays a witty teacher in Pullikkaran Staraa

Pullikkaran Staraa also stars Asha Sarath, who plays the wife of Mammootty.'Pullikkaran Staraa' is produced by B Rakesh under the banner of Universal Cinema in association with FTS Films.

The first teaser of the upcoming Mammootty movie Pullikkaran Staraa has been released on YouTube. Pullikkaran Staraa is directed by Shyam Dhar and scripted by Rateesh Ravi. The movie is a very colourful and aims at the family audience. 

In an interview with New Indian Express, director Shyamdhar says, "This is a feel-good film." He also added, Mammootty is playing a role of a trainer, who trains teachers. However, he is not your stereotypical teacher who preaches. He brings forth ideas and lessons by way of little incidents. I am sure families will love it.” 

Pullikkaran Staraa also stars Asha Sarath, who plays the wife of Mammootty and Innocent. The cast also includes Deepti Sati, Dileesh Pothan, Hareesh Perumana, among others.

The music is composed by M. Jayachandran, and the background score is by Gopi Sundar. The film is slated for Bakrid and Onam release.
