Last weekend, we saw both these Malayalam movies finally hit theatres after the Kerala cinema strike was called off.  Here we will tell you the details of the box office number game between Mohanlal and his arch rival Mammootty’s son Dulquer. 

 

Mohanlal's flick has already earned the blockbuster status with it's BO collections. According to a report, the movie, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has already crossed a total gross collection of Rs 8.65 Crores from the Kerala box office, within the first weekend of its release.

 

 

Salmaan's Jomonte Visheshangal has garnered praise for Mukesh-Dulquer’s father-son chemistry. The acting in this movie has been effortlessly convincing and a delight to watch. This film has collected Rs 8.11 crore, lower than Mohanlal's film. As of now, Mohanlal’s movie is winning the box office game.

 

Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol is one of the best family-oriented movies to come out in Malayalam film industry, and according to the reviews it is worth watching, featuring Meena, Anoop Menon, Aima Sebastian and Sanoop Santhosh. 

 

 

On the other hand, Sathyan Anthikad's Jomonte Suvisheshangal worth your money for Salmaan’s charm, and impressive moments of relatable family drama. The movie stars, Anupama Parameswaran, Aishwarya Rajesh. 

 

Meantime, Mohanlal has announced that the first-look poster of his upcoming patriotic movie 1971: Beyond Borders will be released on Republic Day.
