Kiccha Sudeep's clarification on Sanjay Dutt's role in KGF 2

Kiccha Sudeep has put an end to the rumours on him being approached by filmmakers to play the villain in Yash's KGF 2.

The whole country is eagerly waiting to watch Yash starrer KGF 2, which is slated to release on October 23rd this year. The second part of KGF is bigger than the first part because the film has Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who performs the role of a villain in this film. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel.

Earlier, several reports suggested that initially, Kiccha Sudeep was approached for the role of Adheera, which later went to Sanjay Dutt.

Recently, Sudeep interacted with the media and was asked about whether he was offered the role in KGF 2, to which he laughed and said he was never offered any character in KGF Chapter 2.

Sudeep said, “I was only approached with an invite to watch the film when KGF: Chapter 1 was complete.” Sudeep also spoke on the Yash starrer project and said, “I am happy that Sanjay Dutt, sir is doing the film KGF: Chapter 2, as I wouldn’t have done what he is capable of.”

Kiccha Sudeep has played negative roles in many big-budget movies. Since he has performed such roles with ease, a section of Sandalwood cine-goers had felt that 'The Villain' would be perfect for the antagonist's character of Adheera in KGF 2. This paved the way for rumours, which has now come to an end with Kiccha's clarification.
