Kajol says no to Salman Khan

We all know in Salman's films, the actress does not get meaty roles. Most of the female roles are not even half as important as his own.

Against that backdrop, it is important to note that Kajol, especially post-marriage, has been very choosy with the characters she plays. She prefers not only performance-oriented roles but also roles as important as the male actor. 

It was due to this standard that she had earlier rejected Rajkumar Hirani's blockbuster film, '3 Idiots' starring Aamir Khan. Later on, the role landed in Kareena Kapoor Khan's lap.

So it is perhaps not surprising that she has refused the role of a villain in Dabangg 3. 

The Dabangg films are famously three-hour long celebrations of Salman Khan. It is impossible to imagine a female actress getting equal billing with Sallu Bhai in these films. 

Kajol was last seen in 2015's Dilwale alongside Shah Rukh Khan, playing a role almost equivalent to SRK.
