Kaala director Pa Ranjith sets twitter on fire with Arya's chiseled look in his next venture

Synopsis

Months after his announcement about his next project after Kaala with Rajinikanth, director Pa Ranjith has made actor Arya look like a perfect gully boxer of 1980's era in Sarpatta Parambarai.

After sharing series of snippets of his workout, Arya's original look for Pa Ranjith's next big flick has been revealed. His chiseled look with white shorts, boxing gloves and thin mustache is a perfect match for a gully boxer's look in early 1980's.

Soon after the first look of Sarpatta Parambrai was unveiled, the industry joined in heaping praises. Actor Khushbu Sundar, Vishal, Sayeesha Saigal and many left comments and wished Pa Ranjith and Arya a grand success for film being made on real life of small time boxers.

In the poster, as Arya looks angrily against his opponent in the boxing ring, fans behind him are shown cheering something that was a reality in town and village fairs as hobbyists and boxers volunteer to not only show their skills but also take away cash prizes and trophy in those days.

This is the first collaboration between Arya and Pa Ranjith and fans have high expectations from both the names are power houses in Kollywood circle.
The film's music is being scored by Santosh Narayanan and soon the makers will go for production stage.
