The survival of love marriages in the film industry is rare. Amongst them are Suriya and Jyothika leading a happy life. They can be called as an ideal couple. Jyothika not only acted as a heroine opposite to Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan but also opposite the recent generation of Simbhu and Dhanush. But she starred the maximum number of times opposite Suriya.

This introduction started as a friendship which led to love and then marriage. It is known that Suriya and Jyothika now have two children named Diya and Dev.

After a long break Jyothika acted in a film called 36 Vayadhinile. Tasting success in her new film, she is all set to act in another film titled Magalir Mattum.  In a recently attended programme she said that there are very few men with such good qualities as Suriya.

She confessed that till date she didn’t even give a cup of coffee to Suriya. Suriya never asked her to do any work either. She also said that if her son Dev has half the qualities of Suriya it would be enough for her. It can be noted that in many instances Suriya openly appreciated Jyothika saying that he is lucky to have her as his wife.
