Synopsis

Well-known Telugu hero  of the 90s Jagapathi Babu reentered the film industry as a villain He achieved stardom for his villainous roles and earned critical and commercial acclaim Then he went on to act as a hero in Patel Sir which didn’t sit well with the audience

Jagapathi Babu is one of the top heroes of the 90s and earned the reputation of being a family entertainer with his family-oriented roles. But after some unsuccessful films, he changed track and started playing the villain for which he received appreciation from the audience and also critical acclaim

He later acted as a hero in the film Patel Sir, which didn’t reach the masses. Jagapathi Babu accepting the failure of his venture and talking to the media about his next film Jaya Janaki Nayaka, he shared his views on Patel Sir saying that the trailer portrayed the film as a horror thriller. But the movie is a pure family drama interspersed with action.

He said, “The audience were disappointed as they came to eat biryani but were served only meals.”

He also said that he would decide to venture again as a hero based on the script.
