A report published in an entertainment website is the latest growing rumours that actress Amala Paul's mother, Ancy Paul, played a significant role in her divorce from director AL Vijay. The report claims that Amala's mother was very disappointed with the actress' early marriage with the director.
Rumours says that Ancy believed the wedding ruined Amala's successful career, as married actresses have no demand in Indian film industries.
Incidentally, as is common with many actresses, Amala's mother is known to have been the deciding voice in many key decisions in Amala's career.
The couple's families were completely against the marriage, but had agreed as Amala and Vijay were going strong with their decision.
Amala is currently concentrating on her Sandalwood movie career, as she is facing an unofficial ban in Kollywood, where Vijay and his father have considerable influence.
It has also been rumoured that Amala is no longer a part of Dhanush's Vada Chennai.
