Bengaluru: Sandalwood's Power Star, Puneeth Rajkumar turned 44 today (March 17). The star had requested his fans not to celebrate his birthday by buying him any gifts. But on this day, he has also asked a favour from his fans.

Here are the details.

Puneeth is very happy with his fans as they heard his plea and have not got any costly gifts for him. Understanding the power of his words, a happy star has now asked his fans to keep water for animals and birds outside their houses as the temperature is rising in Bengaluru.

Birds and animals have a difficult time finding water during summer. Keeping some water in a bowl is the least thing we can do to help them. I urge my fans to follow this and help the nature, he is reported to have told his fans.

The star even spent some quality time with his fans who had visited him at his house to extend their wishes.

Revealing his best gift so far, he  said that the car that was gifted by parents Rajkumar and Parvathamma is the most favourite.

From Sandalwood, the biggest gift for Puneeth is the release of the first poster of his new film Yuvarathna.
