Aishwarya Rai is currently busy with her up-coming movie Fanney Khan where she is playing the role of a singer. The movie is said to be inspired by a Dutch film, 'Everybody Famous', wherein Thekla Reuten played the lead role as a popular singer.

According to a report, Aishwarya is playing the role of Thekla Reuten in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Fanney Khan whereas Anil Kapoor plays the role of Aishwarya's father who kidnaps the top singer just to cement his daughter's position at the top.

The speculations and rumours about her role in Fanney Khan always are interesting. The latest we hear is that the beautiful actress is going glam once again.

Besides, Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai, Rajkummar Rao is also in the lead roles. The scenes between Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor as father and daughter are said to be most intriguing.

In a report published on Mid Day, the filmmaker stated that the Fanney Khan would release on Eid 2018 (June 15). The producer of the film said, "We decided on Eid because of the lead character Fanney Khan, played by Anil Kapoor, is a Muslim character and there’s no better day than Eid (to release it).”

It is said that Aishwarya will be seen for the first time singing
four-songs in one movie.
