Dulquer congrats his co-stars on their big Kerala State Award win

Synopsis

Vinayakan, Manikandan  beat Mohanlal, Fahadh Faisal, Dulquer who were also in the race for this award.  Dulquer, who played the lead role in the movie, took to social media to congratulate the duo.

The 46th Kerala State Awards were announced on 07th March. Vinayakan won the best Actor award for his hard-hitting performance in the dark crime drama Kammatipaadum. 

 

Manikandan Achary won the Best Character Artiste (male) award for the same film.  They beat Mohanlal, Fahadh Faisal, Dulquer who were also in the race for this award. 

 

Dulquer, who played the lead role in the movie, took to social media to congratulate the duo.

 

 

“Woo hooo !!!! Huuuge congrats to Best Actor Vinayakan chetan and Best Character Actor Manikandan chetan !! Proud and ecstatic that I'm also team #Kammattipaadam !! #StateAwards #Blessed,” Dulquer wrote along with a location picture of the three actors from the sets of Kammatipaadam.

 

Kammattipadam is based on a slum community from Ernakulam. It revolves around the Dalit community who lose everything, as Kochi prioritises urbanisation over human lives.

 

Dulquer had won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor last year for his performance in Charlie.
