Stone pelted at Sandalwood Challenging Star Darshan’s house

A group of miscreants allegedly hurled a stone at Sandalwood actor Darshan’s house. Actor Darshan’s support to Sumalatha Ambareesh has been floated as a possible reason for the incident
Bengaluru: A group of miscreants reportedly pelted a stone at actor Darshan’s house in Rajarajeshwarinagar, Bengaluru in the wee hours of March 23.
According to media report, the incident occurred at around 1 AM. A domestic help, Srinivas, in the house was awoken by a noise. He told police that someone hurled a stone at a window. The perpetrators allegedly sped away.
Fortunately, there was no vehicle present in the house and further damage was avoided, exclaimed Srinivas to police.
Darshan’s support to Sumalatha Ambareesh for the Lok Sabha elections has been floated as a possible reason for the incident as the actor has received a lot of flak from JD(S) supporters.
Many stalwarts from the Sandalwood fraternity have pledged their support to Sumalatha Ambareesh who has been gaining popularity. Apart from Darshan, Yash, Rockline Venkatesh, Doddanna too have pledged their support to yesteryears actor Ambareesh’s wife.
No case has been registered, but police reportedly visited Darshan’s house on Saturday
