As per the report in ANI, young Television and web series actress lodged a file against the casting director Ayush Tiwari for rape case on the pretext of marriage. She claimed that she was raped for a number of times in various locations all over Mumbai by the accused.
The FIR is registered on November 25 by the Mumbai police, but the accused is yet to be arrested. According to PTI, Versova's senior police inspector Raghvendra Thakur said, "We have registered the FIR against the accused under Indian Penal Code Section 376 (rape). No arrest has been made. We are investigating the case".
According to the actress, the accused casting director had promised to marry her but instead he raped her in various Mumbai locations. They both knew each other for two years, yet this unfortunate incident happened. The actress lodged a complaint on November 16 which the Mumbai police registered on November 25.
