The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) team is reportedly searching for a new captain as the deadline for confirming retentions for the IPL 2025 season draws near. According to Anandabazar Patrika, to raise enough money for the big auctions, the RCB may decide to release Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and captain Faf du Plessis. Cameron Green, Muhammad Siraj, and Virat Kohli are the front-runners for retention.
