Director's lewd remark forces 'tearful' Chitrangada to quit

The buzz is that Chitrangada Singh went through a traumatic time in Lucknow shooting for Kushan Nandy's film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. Last week it finally seemed too terrible to take. Reports now indicate that she has kicked the film and landed in Mumbai.

Chitrangada was shooting for Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, and while filming an intimate scene with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the actress was asked to take retakes to perfect the shot.

A source close to the production house revealed that Kushan got a bit too involved in the scene which only required Nawaz to pull the Desi Boyz actress roughly onto the bed. A series of statements made by the director during the shoot enraged the actress. "Chitrangada, you ought to get completely on top of Nawaz. Tange ragdo and sex karo," are one of the many the director is alleged to have spoken. 

Outraged by the directer's words, Chitrangada got into a verbal spat with Kushan, after which she decided to quit the film. 

Later her role was offered to Tanu Weds Manu actress Swara Bhaskar, who also refused the offer. Swara reportedly liked the script but not her part in the movie.
