Director of 'Soorarai Pottru' reveals Suriya's personality
Synopsis
Amazon Prime Video's upcoming action-drama Soorarai Pottru has been the latest talk of the town, and director Sudha Kongara shares how superstar Suriya slipped into his character seamlessly.
Talking about Suriya's character, the director says, "He is very real in the film, and he knows what I want, and he gave his 200% to put in that effort. He was the first one to come on set and caught all my attention with his performance."
How the director-actor duo connected well having mutual taste in cinema, Sudha says, "We connected on cinema, as we both like the same kind of cinema. And I am completely satisfied with his performance in this film."
Lead actor Suriya also has a surprise under wraps for his fans which were announced recently, and fans are waiting for the curtain to fall and the surprise to unveil.
The Tamil film stars Suriya, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and Aparna Balamurali. It will be a fictionalised account of the life of the retired Army Captain. G. R. Gopinath, who founded the low-cost airline, Air Deccan.
Helmed by director Sudha Kongara, Soorarai Pottru is bankrolled by Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment and will premiere exclusively on November 12 on Amazon Prime Video.
