Dileep had said that if an actress calls him an "uncle" after she has acted with him then that could get awkward.
Titled 'Pookkalam Varavayi' the film had Kavya and Dileep in lead roles. The film was made in 1991. It is said that when Kavya (who was acting as a child artist) first met Dileep on the first day of their shoot together, she addressed him as 'Uncle.'
In fact, in one of the interviews, many years later, Dileep had said that if an actress calls him an "uncle" after she has acted with him then that could get awkward.

What's more? The actress was not too fond of Dileep before she started acting with him. As it turns out, she did not even want to be paired opposite him. Her favourite actor was Kunchacko Boban and she wanted to do a film with him.
