Directed and produced by Amal Neerad, CIA is one of the most anticipated films of the year and was shot in the US, Canada and Kottayam.

Dulquer plays male lead Aji Mathew, a Kottayam native who has communist leanings. However, the film is more of a coming-of-age story than a political drama, unlike the recently released 'Oru Mexican Aparatha' and 'Sakhavu'.

CIA also features newcomer Karthika Muralidharan. Soubin Shahir, Jinu Jospeh and John Vijay in important roles. The film was written by Shibin Francis and has music by Gopi Sundar. It was shot by Amal Neerad's regular Ranadive and edited by Praveen Prabhakar,
