Case filed against Vishal Dadlani for Jain guru tweets

Popular Bollywood composer and singer Vishal Dadlani’s controversial remark on twitter against Digambar Jain guru Tarun Sagar has got him into serious trouble. The community members have now filed a case against the singer and Tehseen Poonawaala for their tweets against the guru and the community.
On Saturday, Dadlani and Poonawaala made an offensive remark against the guru who was delivering a speech in Haryana Assembly, naked. Tarun Sagar who is from the Digambar sect of Jains, doesn’t wear clothes which is a part of their religious practice.
These tweets triggered outrage among Tarun Sagar’s followers to an extent where Dadlani had to apologise for what he had tweeted which had by then angered the whole community. He also requested not to mix politics and religion.
Delhi CM and Aam Aadmi Party Chief, Arvind Kejriwal also expressed that what his party member said was not right and tweeted.
However, the situation went out of control and Vishal Dadlani, had to eventually announce on Sunday that he is quitting politics.
