Bollywood actress faces Southern casting couch

Making the allegation in an interview with an entertainment website, Surveen stated she was yet to confront something of that nature in Bollywood but was approached for sexual favours in the Southern film industries. 

When asked if she had ever faced the casting couch, she replied -  "Oh ya! But surprisingly not in Bollywood. It came from the South industry." She also added, "I haven't seen the wrong side of Bollywood yet. It seems like I have had some protective forces around me," 

When asked how she had responded to such offers, the actress said, "Don't remind me of those phone calls and text messages. I wasn't game for it. I will wait for the right kind of work. If I have it in me, everything will fall into place. You need a bit of luck too in this industry."

These kinds of demands are assumed to be a part and parcel of the glitz world, but very few celebs speak about it in public. 

Surveen will be sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor in season two of '24'. '24' is a thriller based on an American show of the same name. It will aired on Colors TV from July 17 onwards.
