Balloon teaser: Jai, Anjali’s film promises a gut-wrenching horror thriller

An honest and gut-wrenching horror film like Balloon has been a long overdue. The movie promises to be scary and the teaser lives up to it.  Going by the official teaser of the film, we can say it is a must watch, especially for those who love horror movies.  Tamil superstar STR launched the teaser through his social networking sites.  

The horror-comedy movie has become a new favourite of Tamil filmmakers, given that films from this genre ensure successful box office returns for the producers.  The real-life couple, actor Jai and Anjali will be seen in a new upcoming horror thriller, Balloon. 

Both actors had displayed their awesome chemistry in the movie, Engaeyum Eppothum. Therefore, we hope Balloon will show the same chemistry once again. Going by the official teaser of the film, we can say it is a must watch, especially for those who love horror movies.

Tamil superstar STR launched the teaser through his social networking sites. The video has many scary moments that will surely terrify audiences in theatres. According to reports, the movie is said to be inspired by Stephen King’s IT.

Like most of the horror movies, there is a haunted house which is the sources of all the difficulties endured by the characters in the film. The house which is haunted belonged to a person who used to sell balloons in a clown’s costume when he was alive. 

Going by the video, the movie is likely to be a revenge drama, where the dead uses the living to get back at the people who wronged them. 

Balloon is directed by Sinish and is produced by Dhilip Subbarayan, Arun Balaji and Nandakumar for 70mm Entertainment and Farmer’s Master Plan Productions. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music for the film.

The film will simultaneously release in Tamil and Telugu. To make it engaging to the Telugu film audience, the filmmakers had roped in Raj Tarun for a cameo, who will also mark his debut in Tamil.
