Actor Asif Basra found dead in Dharamshala

Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. 

SSP Kangra Vimukt Ranjan said the forensic team is at the spot and that police is investigating the matter.

Asif was a popular face in the film as well as television industry.

He was seen in Sushant Singh Rajput's Kai Po Che, Rani Mukherji's Hichki, Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 and Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor starrer Jab We Met.

Asif was last seen playing the role of Asghar Nabi in Hotstar Special series 'Hostages'.

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to Twitter account and reacted to the sad news. He wrote, "Asif Basra! Can't be true...This is just very, very sad."
