Chennai: Tamil superstar Thala Ajith and his wife Shalini yesterday visited a city hospital. This visit has left his fans worried as there has Tamil Nadu has been witnessing a sharp rise in COVID-19 cases.
Ajith and Shalini were wearing a mask when they visited the hospital and they left after their consultation. Fans recognised them despite the masks and immediately gathered to click their photos.
Security and others came forward to control the situation and stopped people and fans from approaching close to them.
As photos and videos surfaced on social media, netizens went crazy.
Thala Ajith, who has his next big film Valimai produced by Boney Kapoor, has put a halt to shooting due to lockdown and coronavirus cases.
The actor has reportedly informed Boney Kapoor that he does not want to take risk nor put the crew members in trouble. He has requested that the project be kept on hold till a clear and safe picture emerges from health ministry.
