Arjun Janya heart attack: Sandalwood's AR Rahman makes miraculous recovery

Famous composer of Kannada cinema Arjun Janya, who has scored music in 100 films in his 14-year-long career, underwent an angioplasty as he has over 90% heart blockage  

Famous music composer in Kannada industry, Arjun Janya, suffered a heart attack and later underwent angioplasty at a private hospital in Mysuru, Karnataka.

Janya, who is quite health-conscious, had complained about gastric problem as he had missed having food on time in the last few weeks due to work.

During his check-up at the hospital, he was under medication. After returning home, he continued to complain of discomfort in the chest region. The family immediately rushed to the same hospital at 1 pm on Sunday and an ECG report showed heart valve blockage.

The doctors treating Janya later performed angiogram and angioplasty. They reportedly put  a stent in his artery.

The music composer has been shifted to the ward from the intensive care unit and is showing gradually recovering.

According to sources, if there was even a two-hour delay in admitting him to the hospital, Janya could have suffered a massive cardiac arrest and things would have become all the more complicated.

Janya first scored music for Sudeep's Autograph and went to score music for big-budget films. Last year, he had completed working on 100 films.
