Anurag Kashyap is all praise for Malayalam flick 'Kammattipaadam'

In a series of tweets the director compares the movie to 'Once upon a time in America', a  1984 Robert De Niro starrer flick.

Through 'Kammattipaadam', Rajeev Ravi, who has in the past, worked with Anurag Kashyap in Bollywood films like Dev D and Gangs of Wasseypur has broken the mould and gone for a raw  portrayal of lives of the most marginalised people in society when Kochi is going through a transformation from rich green paddy fields to a concrete jungle, which it is at present.
