Will Akshay shed his 'hero image' to be a southern villain?

Though sources close to Akshay have not confirmed it, apparently he is being seen as the new sensational villain of South Indian movies, especially Kollywood and Tollywood.

Earlier, SJ Suriya was rumoured to play the villain in yet-to-be-named AR Murugadoss movie starring Mahesh Babu. But now sources reveal that Akshay has been approached for the role of the powerful villain. So the movie is most likely to be shot in Tamil-Telugu and Hindi.

Unlike other industries, Tamil and Telugu movies give equal or sometimes, even more attention to the antagonists. From their entry to their exit, everything is grand.
