A few weeks ago, there were rumours about actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's efforts to bring Abhishek Bachchan's career back on track. She has even hired Reshma Shetty, the ex-manager of Salman Khan to take care of his publicity and finances. 

According to a top entertainment website, Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the Housefull filmmaker, "Abhishek Bachchan is back in the Housefull franchise by popular demand. His character was not a part of Part 4 of Housefull. But then everyone is so fond of him." The source also said, "Akshay Kumar is Abhi's new career adviser. He has been protective about Abhishek from the beginning."

This is the priceless gift to Abhishek from Akshay.  A source told Deccan Chronicle, "Aishwarya felt Abhishek's career needed a small push to catapult him to the top bracket once again.  India.com quoted a source as saying, "Aishwarya knows that her husband's potential lies untapped and that the issue with his misrepresentation or rather lack of representation into Bollywood circles." 

The source also said, "Ash feels that the team working with Abhishek isn't doing their job well and hence she has decided to take matters into her own hands."
