Mumbai: After being ousted from Karan Johar's production in Dostana 2, Kartik  Aaryan has reportedly lost another film. If reports are to be believed, then the actor has been dropped from the film Freddie, directed by Ajay Bahl.

The film was produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. The film starred Katrina Kaif, opposite Kartik.

The report added that Kartik had returned the signing amount of Rs 2 crores to the production house after exit.

In April, rumours were that the actor would exit from the film Dostana -2, directed by Collin D'Cunha. Without revealing the reason for the replacement, Dharma Production issued a statement that read, "Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence - we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D'Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon."
