After Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan tests positive for coronavirus

Following Amitabh Bachchan, reports are in that Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive for COVID-19.  

Shocking news has hit the Bachchan family. Legend Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19, and has been admitted to Nanavati Hospital. 

Moments later reports stated that his son Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive for coronavirus. Junior Bachchan also took to Twitter to confirm the news

He stated, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽”

Earlier, Amitabh took to Twitter to share the news. He tweeted, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

Amitabh stays in his Jalsa bungalow with wife Jaya, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai and granddaughter Aaradhya. His daughter Shweta and her children are also in Mumbai currently. 

As soon as Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, fans and celebs took over social media to pray for his speedy recovery.
