Actress Nikhita's gold chain snatched in Bengaluru
Synopsis
Nikhita became a victim of chain snatching when two miscreants accosted her mid way and absconded after pulling her gold chain forcibly. The incident happened on Monday night in Maruthi Nagar Road. Nikita, who was riding a bike was left shocked and visibly shaken. The actress has lodged a police complaint in Chandra Layout Police Station.
Flashback: Nikhita is said to have lent a sum of ₹ 9 lakh to her friend Chitra. Chitra had reportedly given two cheques just for security and on presenting these cheques in bank. However both the cheques bounced and Nikhita was left with no choice but to register a Cheque Bounce case in the nearest station. This led to some arguments and differences between the duo.
Police suspect that the cheque incident might have led to the attack on Nikhita.
