Bhavana got engaged to Kannada producer Naveen She was in a relationship but had not revealed the identity

Mollywood actress Bhavana got engaged to Kannada film producer Naveen. The ceremony took place on Thursday, at her home in the presence of friends and relatives. As many as 16 persons including actress Manju Warrier and Samyuktha Varma attended the ceremony. 

Naveen was the producer of her Kannada movie Romeo in 2012. The wedding is scheduled to take place in the Malayalam month of 'Chingam' (August- September). 

"The horoscopes of the boy and girl was exchanged in today's ceremony. It was an informal function that took place at her house. A formal engagement will be held ahead of their wedding," a close relative told The News Minute.

The couple always flipflopped about their relationship. Two years ago, Bhavana confirmed that she was in a relationship but did not reveal any details. The actress also said that she was not ready for marriage soon. 

However, her mother Pushpa had in an interview with a daily, confirmed that marriage of Bhavana was fixed while her father was alive. According to reports, Bhavana will continue acting post wedding. Her mother has been quoted as saying that Bhavana will ultimately decide on her future. 

Bhavana, who has acted in Malayalam, Kannada and Tamil movies will be next seen in Honey Bee 2, the sequel of her 2013 flick Honey Bee. The thirty-year-old actress is currently shooting for Adam which stars Prithviraj in the lead role. 

She has also signed for the Kannada remake of super hit Malayalam movie Charlie.
