Actor-producer Rakshitha Prem issued a clarification on Facebook after she was trolled for allegedly disrespecting journalists. Rakshitha asked one of them not to ask her "stupid questions" when she was questioned about her involvement in her husband's film
Wife of Sandalwood film director Prem who is known for his latest film Villain, took to Facebook to issue a statement regarding her recent controversy.
Actor, producer Rakshitha Prem was asked about her involvement in her husband's dream venture, after which she allegedly snapped at the reporter. "Don't ask stupid questions," said Rakshitha Prem to the reporter.
The incident created quite the stir with people slamming her for disrespecting the media. She then took to Facebook to clear the air. She wrote in a post that she attributes her success in the industry to the people of Karnataka and the responsible, senior journalists back then. "I will always respect them, forever. I still have lots of friends from the media and are more like family to me. They respect my space and love me for who I am. But when people ask me questions just to hurt my sentiments and emotions to make a joke out of me or my husband Prem, I don't see why I should tolerate it," wrote Rakshitha.
She also went on to say that she is very sensitive and sensible and could never hurt people, media or even herself in the process. She wrote that she respects every individual for the person they are and not the position they hold. "Sometimes being human is what is very important," added Rakshitha. She also stated that social media, electronic and print had all been a part of her life and will always be so. In conclusion to her post, she thanked the people of Karnataka for understanding her sentiments and respecting it.
