Virat Kohli has been coming off a decent performance in the just-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL), as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) managed to finish in the fourth spot. However, the wait for his and his side's maiden title does not seem to be ending.
Similarly, English football striker Harry Kane has been having a terrific reign at his current club Tottenham Hotspur. Nonetheless, the side is yet to win a Premier League title since 1960-61. Furthermore, Kane, too, is looking for his maiden title at the club, since 2009.
Meanwhile, Kane recently took to social media, posting a video, where he is seen playing cricket at Tottenham's training centre and gymnasium, along with his teammates. He captioned it "Got a match-winning T20 knock in me, I reckon. Any places going for @RCBTweets in the @IPL next season @imVkohli".
As Kane had tagged RCB skipper Kohli in the post, the latter promptly came up with a reply. It read, "Haha good skills mate. Maybe, we can get you in as a counter-attacking batsman @HKane".
Meanwhile, RCB too left a comment on Kane's post, saying "We've reserved the #10 jersey just for you, @harrykane".
Furthermore, English wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler commented on his post as well, telling the striker "Get yourself in the @iplt20 auction".
Kane has had a dominant tenure at the London-based club, having scored 201 goals in 308 matches. For England, he has managed to achieve 32 from 51. Nonetheless, he lacks any team trophy in his cabinet.
