Bengaluru: Cricket fans took to social media to celebrate batting legend Sachin Tendulkar’s special day on Friday (November 15).

It was on November 15, 1989, that Tendulkar made his international debut, in a Test against Pakistan in Karachi. Today marks the 30 years since that day.

As a 16-year-old, Tendulkar arrived on the international cricket scene and for 24 years enthralled the audience all over the globe. He broke several records and even after retirement from the game in 2013, he continues to be loved by his fans.

The “God of cricket” took to Twitter to post a video where he is seen batting at an indoor stadium. He captioned the video as “This is something that I love doing the most!”.
