Bengaluru: Batting legend Rahul Dravid’s son Samit Dravid hit a 250-ball 201 and later scored 94 not out in the Karnataka State Cricket Association’s (KSCA) Under-14 Inter-zonal tournament at the Indian Air Force (IAF) ground in Bengaluru.

Right-hander Samit hit 22 fours in his double century knock in the first innings while playing for Vice President’s XI. In the second innings, he scored 94 not out. Later, he took three wickets for 26 runs.

The match ended in a draw as Samit’s team collected three points while the opponents Dharwad Zone got one point. Samit has been in fine form in the inter-zonal tournament and he looks certain to seal a spot in the Karnataka Under-14 team.

Rahul Dravid is currently the head of National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. He will be a proud father today.
