Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have won the Indian Premier League (IPL) during an occasion in 2016, under the leadership of David Warner. While they are in the hunt for their second title, Warner and his men are not having the best of the season, so far.
In the quest to stay alive for the playoffs qualification in IPL 2020, SRH came up with a resounding performance and tamed Delhi Capitals (DC) by a mammoth margin of 88 runs. Interestingly, the win came on a day when Warner was celebrating his 34th birthday, as he played a stellar knock of 66.
Warner scripted some records with the win, as SRH have risen to the sixth spot in the table, while they have a job to do in their remaining two matches. Nonetheless, the side celebrated their win, along with Warner's birthday, upon returning to the team hotel, following the game, on Tuesday.
SRH tweeted a video of the celebration, where Priyam Garg and Manish Pandey are seen smearing cake all over Warner's face. At the same time, the birthday boy joined the fun in a mini cake fight, along with bowling coach Muttiah Muralitharan. The video was captioned, "Watch what happened in the dressing room after our crucial game last night. Don't miss the cake rituals too, #OrangeArmy #SRHvDC #KeepRising #Dream11IPL."

Nonetheless, the celebrations would not be intense, as SRH have a task at hand in their final two league games, against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI). Both the teams are a win away from sealing their spot in the playoffs.
