Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) announced a major announcement ahead of their clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday. Through a video, RCB announced that they will be wearing green jerseys, which also aimed to put an environmental concern message across.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fans dearly missed to see their admired team in their green jersey. RCB have a tradition of playing a day match in their green dress and have been seen in this attire in the previous seasons as well. Having played 10 matches this season, fans were waiting to see them in their green dress.
RCB took to their Twitter handle to announce this decision. The team posted a video and captioned, “Bold Diaries: RCB Go Green Initiative RCB players will sport the Green Jerseys against CSK tomorrow to spread awareness about keeping the planet clean and healthy. #PlayBold #IPL2020 #WeAreChallengers #Dream11IPL.”

With this, RCB wants to make a global appeal and make people and fans aware of the natural resources. They will be wearing the green jersey in their clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday in Dubai during the day.
RCB have done such campaigns in the past as well. Even at the start of the IPL season, they acknowledged the Covid warriors and even got their names imprinted on their jerseys.
In this season, RCB have been absolutely brilliant and have won seven of the 10 matches they have played. Currently third on the table, they are gearing up to qualify for the playoffs.
