IPL 2020 auction: Full list of players sold in Kolkata; Pat Cummins sets record as 62 cricketers bought

Here is the full list of players sold at the IPL 2020 players auction in Kolkata. All eight teams shopped for players ahead of next year's IPL Twenty20 tournament. Find out who got how much money on Thursday (December 19). Pat Cummins was the star of the auction


Kolkata: Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins was the costliest player at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 auction in Kolkata on Thursday (December 19). Overall, 62 players were sold including 29 overseas cricketers. The total amount spent was Rs 140.30 crore. Australians called the shots in the mini auction.

The 26-year-old Cummins became the highest paid overseas player in the history of IPL as he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for Rs 15.5 crore. Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were also involved in intense bidding war for Cummins but finally KKR got him.
