IPL 2020: CSK pacer Deepak Chahar recovers from coronavirus

Synopsis

Deepak Chahar has joined the team, but will undergo some fitness tests to resume his training drills.

Deepak Chahar joins Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) bio bubble sphere ahead of their first match against Mumbai Indians (MI), scheduled for next week. Chahar, who had tested Corona positive a couple of weeks ago, battled it with a positive mind and came hailing after the fourteen-day quarantine period.

Despite Chahar testing negative for corona twice, he needs to undergo further fitness tests to start training for the IPL season. As per the BCCI regimes, the player will go undergo further tests, along with a cardiac examination, undertaken by their medical team.
